With Les Chausmes our goal was to lay bare the singularity of a geographical area, the area of the village of Montpeyroux. Our plots are spread under a mosaic of microclimates and give grapes of the utmost quality with typical sensory profiles mirroring the variety of the terroir in their slight differences.
We hand harvest the grapes of each plot and vinify them separately so that we can then fashion Les Chausmes to be an iconic, made-to-measure cuvée. For us, this micro cuvée of 4000 bottles dominated by the Carignan is proof that both savoir-faire and the listening of nature are essential to create a great wine.

This wine presents a deep garnet colour with intense shades of red. The nose is complexe and intense. Red fruits aromas blend with sweet spices and white pepper. The palate is opulent and rich with silky tannins. A wonderful balance with a long-lasting mouth.
